University of Gitwe (UG) has played a major role in the Rwanda educational history since 1993. In 2013, this university began awarding undergraduate degrees in nursing science, biomedical science, and computer science faculties.
Currently, UG is running various programs in five faculties namely Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery, Bachelor of General Nursing Science, Bachelor of Biomedical Science, Bachelor of Computer Science Management, Bachelor of Computer science Engineering, and Bachelor of Education.
Throughout our history, we are strongly committed to a higher learning program grounded in enhancing mental, spiritual, physical, and social faculties of our students.
